Today the International Women's Day is celebrated

Santo Domingo .- The old testament of the Sacred Scriptures quotes in the book of Proverbs 31: 10-31 "Woman hacendosa, Who the Will find Its value is far above jewels. In her she entrusts the heart of her husband, and it will not lack of profits. She brings him good and not bad all the days of her life. "

Although from the beginning the creator has provided a space for women to live in harmony with man, women today struggle to obtain equality of their rights both in the political, social and cultural.

Today many countries of the world unite to celebrate International Women's Day the struggle for equality, justice and peace between both genders.

The United Nations Organization (UN) states that only 50 per cent of working-age women are represented in the global workforce, compared to 76 per cent in the case of men.

So the central theme of this year is "Women in a changing world of work: towards a 50-50 planet in 2030."
